Coming into terms with guilt for making a debatable decision:

Guilt seeped into his thoughts like ink, staining them with shades of culpability. It beckoned him to revisit past events from different angles than the ones he had at the point of time, dripping insight onto perspectives he had not considered. He accepted these feelings as a painful but effective teacher that was guiding him towards personal growth.
